KARACHI: Former Sindh governor and disgruntled Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Muhammad Zubair said that Ishaq Dar, who is currently serving as foreign minister, will likely get “finance ministry” again, ARY News reported. Two prime suspects of Sukkur rape, murder of teenage boy arrested 

SUKKUR: In a major development, two prime suspects Yasin and Khalid were arrested for their alleged involvement in the rape and murder of a 13-year-old boy in Sukkur, ARY News reported. Karachi: Another youth killed for resisting robbery

KARACHI: As the robbery incidents continue to rise in Karachi, another young man was killed by armed robbers for resisting robbery in the port city, ARY News reported on Friday. Three suspects died after Police encounter near Indus highway

JAMSHORO: A car carrying three passengers overturned near Indus Highway following an encounter with the police, leading to the death of all three individuals, ARY News reported on Sunday. Karachi: Policeman killed in road accident

KARACHI: A policeman was killed when a speeding car hit him near Zamzama Street, Karachi, ARY News reported. As per details, the policemen died on the spot of the accident. Petrol price kept unchanged; diesel jumps by Rs1.77

ISLAMABAD: In its first fuel price revision announcement, the federal government on Friday left the price of petrol unchanged but increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs1.77 per litre for the next fortnight, ARY News reported. In a late-night announcement, the Ministry of Finance announced the new prices for the next fortnight, starting from March 15. The diesel price has gone up by Rs1.77 with immediate effect to Rs285.56 per litre from Rs283.79 earlier. Since this fuel is mostly used by the transport sector, a hike in its price is considered inflationary. The fuel is used in heavy vehicles, trains and agricultural engines like trucks, buses, tractors, tube wells and threshers and particularly adds to the prices of vegetables and other eatables. RAWALPINDI: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif along with his cabinet members, visited the General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Friday and laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay tribute to the martyrs, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
