Heavy vehicle claims two more lives in Karachi

KARACHI: At least two persons were killed when a truck collided with a motorcycle in Karachi’s Bhens Colony as road accidents continue claiming valuable lives in the city, ARY News reported, citing police. The devastating accident occurred on Road Number 10 in Bhains Colony, Karachi, when a truck allegedly hit he motorcycle, claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving one person severely injured. According to police, the incident resulted in the instantaneous death of two people on the bike. The injured person was rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. Sindh lawyers call off Babarloi sit-in

Traffic plan unveiled for foreign dignitary’s visit to Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police revealed a traffic plan for the capital city in view of the visit of a foreign dignitary on Tuesday, ARY News reported. According to the Islamabad Traffic Police, the Srinagar Highway will remain temporarily closed at specific timings to ensure the dignitary’s safe passage. The Srinagar Highway will be closed from 1 am to 2 am, 3:30 am to 4:30 am, and 7 am to 9 am and citizens are advised to use alternative routes, including service roads connected to the highway. Pakistani woman living in India for 35 years ordered to leave

Electricity tariff likely to drop in Pakistan
